At The Kivuli Project, we believe every child deserves the love and security of a family. Since our founding, we have walked alongside children and families to restore hope, dignity, and purpose through holistic, family-based care.
Guided by faith and compassion, our work focuses on keeping children in safe families, supporting education, and empowering communities to thrive together.
The Kivuli Project believes children grow best within loving families. We support vulnerable children to live in family homes—by reconnecting them with relatives or placing them in new caring families.
Kivuli has over the past 15 years made tremendous strides in shaping the lives of over 100 orphaned or vulnerable children by initially providing residential care and, in the past 6 years, through a community family-based program after reintegration of children in 2019. A community program provides support in education, mentorship, counselling, food, housing, family strengthening, economic empowerment, food security initiatives and parental skills.
